About Safe Tiles
Safe Tiles is a small independent site about one game: Mines, the 5×5 grid where you choose how many mines hide under the tiles and cash out before you hit one. It is written for Australians who have seen the game in a casino lobby, on a stream or in an app ad and want to know what the numbers really are.
What you'll find here
- The odds, worked out in full. Every table on this site comes from one formula: the chance that each click lands on a safe tile, multiplied click by click. The odds calculator shows it for any mine count.
- The provider's own rules. RTP, mine ranges and cash-out rules are read from the game studio's pages and demos, with the date we read them. See how we verify.
- A free demo. The grid on the home page and on free play runs in your browser with no account and no money.
Who writes it
The site is edited by Jarrah Lindqvist, a hobby programmer in Hobart. Jarrah is not a lawyer, a mathematician by trade or a licensed adviser; the maths on this site is the kind you can check with a calculator, and every source is linked at the bottom of the page it supports.
Who pays for it
Nobody yet. When a casino passes our checks, we may add a link that pays us a commission if you open an account. That is explained on how we are paid, and it never changes the odds tables.
